The Sales Consultant develops client relationships and generates HVAC sales within a designated territory. The role is responsible for establishing customer rapport, identifying appropriate products and services, and guiding prospective customers through accurate product and pricing information. The Sales Consultant prepares proposals that can be readily transferred to the installation team, negotiates and closes deals, and helps build positive word-of-mouth for the company. The position also contributes to sales planning and territory expansion, tracks sales, and submits reports at the end of each pay period. This is an exempt position. Work hours are determined by business needs, and extended hours or weekends may be required. The role works in a standard office environment and frequently involves outdoor weather conditions, including occasional wet, snowy, hot, and humid conditions. Work may also involve dark, confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics. Travel is required within King, Snohomish, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson, and Island counties, and may include other counties. The position has no supervisory responsibilities; questionable matters are referred to a supervisor.
