About The Position

Round Rock Hyundai, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for Sales Consultants to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences. Sales professionals can earn upwards of $120k per year with unlimited advancement opportunities.

Requirements

  • No prior experience or training is required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Driving Record that meets insurance requirements and company policy.
  • Current and active Sales License, in states where applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an unparalleled level of knowledge, expertise, and authenticity to help customers find the vehicle they're looking for.
  • Grow the dealership and your career by hitting challenging monthly goals.
  • Bring new business to the dealership through referrals, networking, and repeat business.
  • Establish personal sales goals and implement a plan of action to achieve goals.
  • Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that impact retail automotive sales.
  • Effectively communicate via face-to-face, phone, or by other means of communication.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Process data and organize it for management analysis.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale of department, dealership and organization.
  • Stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, showroom, service department, offices) for most of the shift.
  • Assist in cleaning vehicles from snow if applicable to the local climate.
