Requirements

  • Knowledge of insulation products and an understanding of the building envelope is a must.
  • Presentation Skills, Internal Communications, Verbal and Written communication.
  • Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Persistence, Meeting Sales Goals.
  • Ambition and a thirst to learn is a must.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience with territory sales.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing knowledge of the building envelope and insulation products.
  • Experience within the construction industry is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales.
  • Identify market potential by qualifying accounts.
  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments; make initial presentations; understand account requirements.
  • Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explain product and service capabilities; overcome objections; prepare contracts.
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services.
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
  • Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplish marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Develop relationships with contractors and builders.
  • Deliver results with respect to sales targets and Margin targets.
  • Work closely with Customer Experience Team to schedule appointments, follow up with customers and close sales.
