About The Position
At McDonald Automotive, customer experience is at the center of everything we do. No prior automotive sales experience is required. In fact, many of our top performers came from industries outside of automotive. We’re truly in the hospitality business. Many of our top performers come from backgrounds like: Luxury retail sales, Retail management and leadership, Serving and bartending, Hotel and hospitality management, Customer success and account management, Wireless and cellular sales, Banking and financial services, Real estate, Fitness and membership sales, Business development, Recruiting and staffing, High-end customer service roles. Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, leadership, or business development. (Automotive experience a plus, but not required)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Comfortable using technology, CRM systems, text messaging, email, and video communication tools.
- Positive attitude and desire to learn.
Responsibilities
- Drive Sales & Build Your Business
- Take ownership of customer opportunities from initial inquiry through vehicle delivery.
- Build relationships with customers through phone, text, email, video, and in-person interactions.
- Generate repeat business and referrals through exceptional service and follow-up.
- Consistently achieve individual sales goals while contributing to team success.
- Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
- Guide customers through a consultative, pressure-free purchasing process.
- Understand customer needs and match them with the right vehicle and ownership solution.
- Create a memorable experience that earns trust, loyalty, and long-term relationships.
- Become a Product Expert
- Participate in manufacturer and dealership training programs.
- Learn vehicle technology, features, financing options, and ownership benefits.
- Confidently demonstrate products and explain value to customers.
