About The Position
Johnson Brothers is a national family-owned wine, spirits and beer distributor with a long history of exceptional service since 1953. Our Sales Consultants are vital to our success, responsible for building customer relationships, providing product knowledge, and executing merchandising activities. This specific role will cover a territory in and around Greenwood, IN, and requires the candidate to reside in the area.
Requirements
- BA/BS college degree or related industry experience.
- Passion for selling; highly driven, motivated, and enthusiastic.
- Ultimate focus on our customers and our business.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
- Articulate, clear, and concise communication skills.
- Comfortable using mobile devices for inventory and other tasks.
- Experience with a Point of Sale system.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and MVR check.
Nice To Haves
- Some route sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Consistently maintain contact with customers and address any issues in a timely manner.
- Plan and execute sales initiatives, delivering effective sales presentations.
- Identify and develop new accounts.
- Meet and exceed sales goals.
- Manage merchandising efforts, focusing on display size and location, shelf standards, counters, windows, and product rotation.
- Conduct inventory checks and work to minimize ordering errors.
