Requirements

  • You don't have to come from automotive. You do have to care about people. Our best Sales Consultants have come from hospitality, retail, real estate, fitness, education, and yes -- automotive. What they all share is a drive to serve, a hunger to grow, and the integrity to do it right.
  • Previous automotive sales experience preferred -- but not required
  • Proven success and experience in sales, hospitality, retail, or guest-facing service
  • Natural communicator who listens well, builds trust quickly, and follows through
  • Self-motivated with a competitive drive and a team-first attitude
  • Comfortable with technology -- CRM tools, digital communication, and online lead follow-up
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • A genuine hospitality mindset -- you treat every guest interaction like it matters, because it does

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism -- making every interaction feel personal, not transactional
  • Guide guests through the vehicle selection process with confidence, curiosity, and care
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles in a way that connects features to what actually matters to the guest
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of guest relationships through consistent follow-up and CRM discipline
  • Collaborate with finance and management to deliver a seamless, low-pressure purchase experience
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining high guest satisfaction scores
  • Represent the Honda brand and Swickard's hospitality standards in every conversation
