About The Position

AutoPark Honda has an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join their team and the Holman Family! This role oversees all aspects of the sales of vehicles and associated paperwork. The Sales Consultant will greet customers on the sales floor, perform a needs analysis, explain features and benefits, and demonstrate vehicle operation. They will research vehicle availability, negotiate sales prices and lease payments with Sales Managers and F&I, and inspect inventory. The role also involves completing all necessary paperwork, arranging for vehicle detail and delivery, and familiarizing the customer with the vehicle. A key aspect of this position is maximizing the customer experience and assisting the Sales Manager with customer problems. The Sales Consultant is also expected to attend required training and department meetings.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Previous sales experience and college degree preferred.
Prior sales / customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees all aspects of the sales of vehicles and associated paperwork.
Greets customer on sales floor and performs a needs analysis including make, type, and features of vehicle desired.
Explains features/benefits and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road.
Researches availability of models and optional equipment using computer database.
Works with Sales Managers and F&I and negotiates sales price, lease payment, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount / rebates.
Walks the lot and visually inspects inventory.
Completes all paperwork and arranges for detail and delivery of vehicle.
Delivers and familiarizes the customer with vehicle.
Maximizes the customer experience.
Assist Sales Manager with customer problems.
Attends/completes required training and department meetings.
