About The Position

The Sales Consultant is responsible for completing sales training and learning the skills needed to become a Sales Associate or Consultant. A minimum of three months of training is required. The role supports prospective and current homebuyers, assists the sales team, develops knowledge of local markets and relevant regulations, and helps with sales office administration.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Appropriate license or certifications as required by the state.
• Valid driver's license; driving is an essential function of the position.
• Strong organizational skills and a desire to learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• College coursework preferred.
• Knowledge of a sales organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting interviews of prospects for current and future home sales, including model presentations.
• Assist new homebuyers and prospective homebuyers as needed.
• Serve as backup to other members of the sales team as needed.
• Learn about local markets, competition, real estate laws and rules, public opinion, local and national trends, and governmental regulations related to home buying.
• Assist with sales office administrative responsibilities as needed.
