About The Position

Mattress Warehouse is seeking motivated Retail Sales Consultants to sell premium mattress and bedding products using the company’s established sales process and bedMATCH diagnostic sleep system. Consultants help customers find sleep products suited to their needs and provide a relaxed, low-pressure, educational shopping experience focused on improving customers’ lives through sleep solutions. The role is part of a team-oriented retail environment at a growing, family-owned and operated bedding retailer.

Requirements

• Motivation and a results-oriented approach to retail sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to meet and interact with customers and understand their needs.
• Team-oriented attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends; the typical schedule is 4–5 days per week and may involve 40–55 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

• Equal fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish, or other languages, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell premium mattress and bedding products using the company’s sales process and bedMATCH diagnostic sleep system.
• Help customers understand their needs and find suitable sleep solutions through a relaxed, low-pressure, educational shopping experience.
• Use tablets, mobile point-of-sale (POS) technology, and the bedMATCH system.
• Reset the showroom floor.
• Assist customers with loading mattress purchases onto their vehicles.
