About The Position

Scan Design is seeking a Design Consultant for its Ft Lauderdale location. This role involves acting as a brand ambassador and creative visionary, managing projects from initial concept to final delivery. The consultant will blend interior design expertise with consultative sales techniques to connect clients with Scan Design's global collection and help them create their dream spaces. This is a high-performance sales role focused on achieving sales targets while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Requirements

• Proven track record in luxury sales, real estate, or high-end retail.
• Self-motivated professional who thrives on achieving sales targets and understands that peak client engagement occurs during weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrated ability to visualize, conceptualize, and communicate sophisticated interior layouts and multi-functional space solutions.
• Professional familiarity with Floor Planner, AutoCAD, or emerging AI-assisted design tools to produce accurate and compelling visual proposals.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the poise and professionalism required to represent a legacy brand like Scan Design.
• Candidates must be available for regular Saturday and Sunday shifts, holiday events, and consistent coverage during showroom operating hours.
• All candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment will be required to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in Interior Design, Home Staging, or Luxury Retail is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients in-store and in-home to identify their lifestyle needs, aesthetic preferences, and budget requirements.
• Develop comprehensive floor plans and layouts that demonstrate how Scan Design pieces transform a client's specific environment.
• Expertly select accessories, finishes, lighting, and rugs to create a cohesive, elevated interior.
• Oversee the client journey from the initial introduction through the procurement process to the final white-glove installation.
• Assist in visual merchandising to ensure our showroom remains a premier destination for design inspiration.
