About The Position

Scan Design is seeking a Design Consultant for their Jacksonville location. This role is for a high-performance sales position where the consultant will act as a brand ambassador and creative visionary. The consultant will be the link between the global collection and the client's dream space, using interior design expertise and consultative sales techniques to manage projects from initial concept to final delivery. Scan Design has been a premier destination for high-end home furnishings in Florida for over 50 years.

Requirements

A proven track record in high-end, relationship based sales (luxury retail, interior design, or real estate) with an emphasis on building long-term client rapport.
A self-motivated professional who thrives on achieving sales targets and views peak selling hours (including weekends) as their primary opportunity for financial rewards.
Demonstrated ability to visualize, conceptualize, and communicate sophisticated interior layouts and multi-functional space solutions.
Prior experience in Interior Design, Home Staging, or Luxury Retail is highly preferred.
Professional familiarity design tools (Floor Planner, AutoCAD, etc) to produce accurate and compelling visual proposals.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the poise and professionalism required to represent a legacy brand like Scan Design.

Prior experience in Interior Design, Home Staging, or Luxury Retail is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Engage with clients in-store and in-home to identify their lifestyle needs, aesthetic preferences, and budget requirements.
Develop comprehensive floor plans and layouts that demonstrate how Scan Design pieces transform a client's specific environment.
Expertly select accessories, finishes, lighting, and rugs to create a cohesive, elevated interior.
Oversee the client journey from the initial introduction through the procurement process to the final white-glove installation.
Assist in visual merchandising to ensure our showroom remains a premier destination for design inspiration.
