About The Position

ERP Advisors Group is seeking a Sales Consultant to join their mission to become the world’s most trusted ERP Advisory firm. The Sales Consultant will work with mid-sized companies to ensure their success with complex enterprise software projects. This is a full-time, in-person role requiring a professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive sales meetings, gather information, educate prospects, and build confidence in the sales process. It is not a cold-calling business development role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business.
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B experience in: ERP, software, professional services sales, Software account management, Or similar experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced level of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Produce excellent, readable documents showing a great command of formatting, fonts, graphics, tables, spreadsheet presentation.
  • Move, think, and act fast - document prep, speaking, typing, using software applications, responding to clients, and internal staff.
  • Genuinely friendly, personable and at ease talking to others without feeling nervous or flustered.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot.
  • Continuously increase own personal understanding of legacy ERPs, modern ERPs, pricing for software and implementation projects, and differentiators among software vendors.
  • Previous experience with Mac OS preferred.
  • Open to holding early meetings to accommodate prospects in Eastern time zone or Europe.
  • Have excellent English grammar, manners and etiquette.
  • Must have a great memory for details like names of people, companies, and deal status without the need to only refer to notes.
  • Genuine desire to do what is right for all parties involved and not just for one’s own gain.

Responsibilities

  • Research prospective client’s website, deduce the correct industry, and send relevant content to that prospect.
  • Qualify prospective clients
  • Schedule and lead introductory calls with prospective clients.
  • Become proficient in pricing EAG’s services for high-level numbers as well as finalizing them for statements of work.
  • Conduct personal research to better understand prospect’s pain points around their software and business challenges to connect the client’s problems to our services.
  • Create your own personal understanding of EAG’s past successful projects to effectively communicate our experience towards helping similar prospects with similar problems.
  • Schedule follow-up meetings with prospective clients.
  • Produce professional, timely, and thorough discovery notes to facilitate accurate creation of Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Take copious notes on technical subjects on a laptop while holding a Zoom meeting or phone call and conducting the meeting and possibly presenting information for the participants.
  • Create custom decks for sales meetings that show EAG understands the prospect’s business and industry and that shows off our past experience with similar clients.
  • Dedicate yourself to understanding each EAG service backwards and forwards so you can answer any question a prospect has about supporting their software initiative, including reading our marketing content and listening to our podcasts and knowing COLD all the marketing collateral at your disposal to educate and interest your prospects.
  • Create professional sales collateral to answer a prospect’s questions.
  • Create, review, and assist with negotiation of SOWs.
  • Send regular communications to active and inactive prospects to keep the process going or to re-ignite it.
  • Provide helpful support to prospective clients at each stage of the sales process by suggesting helpful content and follow-up meetings relevant to their pipeline stage.
  • Get permission from past clients and provide relevant references when requested.
  • Anticipate and coordinate prepping internal team members ahead of prospect meetings.
  • Provide knowledge transfers to the Consulting team once projects are booked.
  • Have an attitude of helpfulness to get the prospect what they need and have a willingness to always answer their questions, so they get good service.
  • Keep all communications with every prospect up-to-date, never making a prospect wait to hear back, even if it means working a little later.
  • Maintain HubSpot for client, company, and deal management.
  • Be coachable towards success with improving sales documents, agendas, spreadsheets, decks, Statements of Work, etc.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, trainings, and events as necessary.
  • Track weekly sales statistics.
  • Work towards weekly, monthly, and quarterly quotas.
  • Perform administrative sales tasks.
