This salary range is an average range for this position. Requirements

  • Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state laws.
  • Able to analyze and understand data and information.
  • Able to leverage SGWS technology to perform duties and responsibilities.
  • Able to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad, smartphone) and online communication techniques (email, posting, texting, etc.) in a professional manner.
  • Able to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances.
  • Able to take responsibility for own actions and results; commits to providing a consistent high level of service to customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management.
  • Able to communicate effectively through various methods and express self clearly and concisely while appropriately tailoring message to audience.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Learning about SGWS products, industry, consultative sales and customers.
  • Supporting more senior sales employees and the Area Sales Manager in servicing and selling to customers.
  • Training on building positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust.
  • Preplanning account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities.
  • Discovering and identifying customer business growth needs.
  • Developing a customer business growth plan for each account.
  • Analyzing data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and better achieve objectives.
  • Building a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales above base business.
  • Prioritizing sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer business growth plan.
  • Visiting accounts regularly, capturing visit notes, and building visit plans considering previous visit outcomes.
  • Maintaining deep knowledge of SGWS products and correctly presenting and positioning them in each account.
  • Proposing selling solutions to each customer and winning the sale using consultative selling skills.
  • Achieving internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management.
  • Managing customer issue resolution and seeking additional opportunities to support the customer's needs.
  • Adapting selling approach based on each customer's buying styles and individual business needs.
  • Learning all accounts, staying current with what competitors are offering and how SGWS products are positioned relative to the competition.
  • Documenting and maintaining account- and customer-specific information in the Proof CRM application.
  • Participating in sales meetings, on-site trainings, and supplier events as required.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
