Sales Consultant - Construction
About The Position
Eikenhout is a wholesale distributor of exterior building products with ten locations throughout Michigan and over 130 years in business. We are seeking a Sales Consultant for the Traverse City area to sell exterior building solutions to existing and prospective contractors. The successful candidate will build relationships with customers based on trust, professionalism, and expert knowledge, working closely with the Traverse City branch and vendors to ensure excellent customer service. We are looking for a high-energy individual with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Requirements
- Proven track record in acquiring new business in a goal-oriented sales environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service to internal and external customers
- Demonstrated attention to detail and follow through
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- General computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Responsibilities
- Selling exterior building solutions to existing and prospective contractors.
