About The Team - Global Distribution We have great investment solutions, but we need to get those solutions into the hands of our clients. To help us connect with our clients, we have created robust and varied distribution channels. The Global Distribution team manages our relationships with financial institutions, financial advisors, and financial intermediaries who offer our investment solutions to clients. They manage relationships with U.S. and Americas based intermediaries as well as intermediaries in Asia, the Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This team also manages relationships with individual investors, retirement plan sponsors, and participants. Global Distribution also works to develop new global distribution channels. We have sales & client engagement internship opportunities available within the following businesses within Global Distribution. U.S. Intermediaries (USI): The U.S. Intermediaries business (USI) distributes investment solutions to Financial Advisors, Home Offices and Platforms across the United States. We offer products designed to meet clients’ needs including mutual funds, Separately Managed Accounts, Trusts/Sub-Advised and ETFs. The types of intermediaries that we partner with include broker/dealers, national and regional banks, registered investment advisors, platform service providers, large defined contribution recordkeepers, and insurance companies. Internship opportunities are within our integrated sales business. Cutting across both wealth and retirement, Integrated Sales drives commercial outcomes through internal partnerships, and (primarily) virtual client engagements. Institutional Distribution (Americas): Americas is responsible for T. Rowe Price’s institutional business in the US, and the institutional and intermediary business in Canada. We are responsible for new business development and for providing world-class service to some of the firm’s largest and most sophisticated clients. The team focuses on deepening client relationships, retaining assets, growing new business, and expanding areas such as insurance, defined contribution, fixed income, and alternatives. Individual Investors (II): Individual Investors serves retail clients directly, providing investment products, retirement solutions, guidance, and service to help individuals achieve their financial goals. The business combines client service, digital experiences, advice, and investment expertise to support clients throughout their investing journey. Through personalized engagement, education, and ongoing support, Individual Investors helps clients build confidence in their financial decisions while deepening long-term relationships with T. Rowe Price. Role Summary The T. Rowe Price internship program includes a formal orientation, peer and senior mentor assignments, and formal learning opportunities. In addition to the work assignments within the assigned department, interns also gain exposure to associates and senior leaders across the firm through an executive speaker series, networking and social events, and engagement with our Business Resource Groups. The Sales & Client Engagement Internship Program offers an in-depth look into the dynamics of client-facing roles through participation in sit-ins, project work, and both direct and indirect client interactions. The goal of the internship is to enhance understanding of the business, broaden knowledge of market insights and industry trends, and familiarize interns with T. Rowe Price's products and strategies.
