About The Position

The Sales & Catering Associate is responsible for supporting the sales and catering teams in achieving revenue goals by providing exceptional customer service, coordinating event logistics, and assisting in the execution of sales strategies. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and events are executed flawlessly, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and/or catering within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in event planning and coordination is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in identifying potential clients and developing relationships to drive sales growth.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure all details are accurately captured and communicated.
  • Support the catering team in planning and executing events, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently.
  • Prepare and maintain sales and event documentation, including contracts, proposals, and event orders.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of events, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  • Conduct follow-up activities with clients post-event to gather feedback and identify opportunities for future business.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations to the sales and catering teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and promotional materials to support business development efforts.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales and catering teams, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by actively participating in team meetings and sharing best practices.
