About The Position

The Sales Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for delivering clear, accurate, and actionable reporting that strengthens pipeline visibility, improves forecasting discipline, and supports a rapidly growing sales organization. This role serves as the analytical backbone of the sales team—maintaining Salesforce data integrity, building reporting dashboards leaders rely on, and partnering directly with senior sales stakeholders to validate pipeline and forecast submissions. The position requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility commercial environment.

Requirements

  • Hands‑on Salesforce reporting experience; ability to build dashboards and structured reports is essential.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, nested formulas, complex logic).
  • Understanding of sales compensation concepts (quota, attainment, incentives) preferred.
  • Strong analytical judgment and comfort working with imperfect or incomplete datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven confidence engaging senior leaders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast‑paced sales environment.
  • A flexible, collaborative, “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” working style.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
  • Up to 5 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business analytics, or a similar analytical role.
  • U.S. work authorization required; must be comfortable working within a defense/government contracting environment.

  • Respond quickly and accurately to ad‑hoc reporting requests and informal leadership inquiries.
  • Maintain Salesforce data hygiene, ensuring field accuracy, disciplined opportunity‑stage usage, and clean pipeline inputs.
  • Build and manage Excel‑based analytical models and trackers when Salesforce reporting alone is insufficient (pipeline coverage, quota attainment, bookings, win/loss).
  • Support monthly and quarterly business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) with clear, decision‑ready reporting packages.
  • Identify data gaps, reporting issues, or process inefficiencies and proactively recommend improvements.
  • Serve as a trusted reporting and data partner for senior sales and revenue stakeholders.
