About The Position

The Part-Time Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.

The role supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; promotes credit and loyalty programs; processes customer purchases and returns; maintains merchandising standards; prepares merchandise for the sales floor; and participates in store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. The associate also provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback, follows applicable labor laws and company policies, and performs other duties as assigned.

This is a part-time seasonal position at the HomeGoods store at 3192 FM 407, Highland Village, Texas. Retail customer experience is preferred. Benefits are subject to the applicable plan or program terms and may depend on service or hours requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following customer experience principles.
• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
