About The Position

Jimmy Fairly, founded in Paris in 2010, is dedicated to creating beautifully designed, high-quality eyewear at fair prices. With over 180 stores across Europe and the UK, the company opened its first U.S. retail location in New York City in December 2025. As Jimmy Fairly expands its presence in Manhattan, it is growing its team. The Sales Associate role is central to the client experience, responsible for welcoming, styling, and guiding clients to ensure they leave confident and excited about their purchase. This role involves creating memorable experiences that foster client loyalty, working alongside Licensed Opticians and the leadership team to deliver an elevated retail experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Retail or hospitality experience and genuinely enjoy working with people.
  • Confident, energetic, and naturally sales-driven.

  • Available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an Outstanding Client Experience: Welcome every client with warmth and confidence. Guide frame styling with a strong eye for aesthetics and detail. Understand client needs and recommend products naturally. Support lens conversations alongside the optician. Close sales confidently while keeping the experience effortless and authentic.
  • Drive Performance: Contribute to ambitious sales targets. Stay proactive and energized during high-traffic moments. Build repeat business through strong client relationships. Be comfortable recommending add-ons and increasing basket size.
  • Support Daily Operations: Maintain visual merchandising standards. Support inventory organization and deliveries. Handle POS transactions accurately and efficiently. Keep the retail space polished and aligned with our brand image at all times.
