About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends, and by providing every customer with an exceptional experience. The role also executes initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team and contributes positively to the store team. The associate supports sales and operational goals, executes visual and digital sales strategies, maintains store organization and cleanliness, and follows company, safety, and loss prevention policies. The position requires flexibility to work 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.

Requirements

Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week with a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.
Ability to frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

Responsibilities

Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Focus on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions.
Handle customer situations according to policy and procedures, attempt to resolve issues, and involve leadership in escalated matters.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
Support organization and cleanliness to promote a safe working and shopping environment.
Follow company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, and the Safety Program.
Comply with Loss Prevention policies and report violations to leadership or the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events, and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
Execute digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS.
Represent the PacSun brand and contribute to a positive working environment by demonstrating core value behaviors.
Adhere to Employee Appearance Guidelines and maintain the company’s fashion image.
