About The Position
Indulge your passion for hunting, target practice, and all things outdoors as a Part-Time Sales Associate at Jax Outdoor Gear in Broomfield. Share your knowledge and enthusiasm and guide customers in making the best decisions on hunting gear and ammo. Help customers prepare for hunting by tuning bows and giving tips on archery. Product training, pro-deals, and our employee discount mean you can try out items in order to increase your knowledge and provide expert opinions to our customers. Our Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers, providing honest and informative answers to questions, making suggestions about products that customers might want, and performing necessary tasks for efficient department operation.
Requirements
- Prior customer service experience
- Willing to pitch-in where needed
- Experience with firearms, bows, and other hunting equipment required
- Must be able to fulfill the requirements to sell firearms in the State of Colorado
- Computer proficiency required
- Works well with others
- Organizational skills
- Engaging and positive
- Attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Bow technician experience preferred
- Previous retail experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Stocking shelves
- Tracking down products for customers
- Keeping the department tidy
- Relaying customer feedback to their manager
- Assisting with visual merchandising of products in the store
- Accurately processing payments
- Maintaining a clean and well-stocked area
- Complete record-keeping tasks and contributing to reports
- Learning about products to provide better answers to customer questions
- Assisting in loss prevention efforts
- Communicating professionally
- Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor
- Taking steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co-workers
- Assisting in inventory responsibilities
