PT Sales Associate
About The Position
Lovesac is hiring a part-time Sales Associate at The Garden Mall in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The role focuses on connecting with customers, helping them choose furniture suited to their lifestyle and space, and delivering a positive, customer-first sales experience. Associates use the Lovesac selling process, maintain and follow up on customer quotes, demonstrate product knowledge, and work to meet or exceed sales goals and key performance indicators. The associate contributes to an inclusive and respectful store culture, builds customer and team relationships, and remains open to learning and feedback. They also support store operations, including opening and closing, inventory, visual standards, promotions, safety, and company policies. The role requires working peak selling periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may involve travel to local stores, third-party vendors, or occasional meetings. The position pays $16.00–$17.50 per hour. Part-time associates may be eligible for up to 26 hours of paid time off within the fiscal calendar year, and certain jurisdictions may provide paid sick and safe leave. Hours worked over 40 in a workweek and hours worked on specified holidays are paid at 1.5 times the regular rate, as described in the posting.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role.
- Regularly work during high-traffic and peak selling periods, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Effectively use technology for sales and customer support, including product demonstrations and internal CRM systems.
- Be able to travel as required to local stores, third-party vendors, and occasional meetings using various forms of transportation.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness when handling financial transactions, sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy, and the comfort and safety of people and property.
- Communicate effectively and manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally.
- Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Move objects, including medium to large furniture items weighing up to 75 pounds, between positions and assemble furniture on the selling floor.
- Perform bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, stooping, crawling, and climbing.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers energetically, use the Lovesac selling process, maintain a personal quote pipeline, and follow up to drive sales conversion.
- Build customer connections that encourage loyalty, repeat business, and brand advocacy.
- Guide the customer journey by identifying needs, providing service, and building lasting client relationships.
- Demonstrate product knowledge, provide brand tours and product education, and close sales.
- Take ownership of performance and work to meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs.
- Contribute to an inclusive, respectful environment for customers and teammates.
- Build relationships and strengthen brand awareness through everyday interactions.
- Support daily store operations, including opening and closing, inventory, visual standards, and promotions.
- Use store systems and data to prioritize work and support efficient, customer-focused execution.
- Follow brand standards, safety requirements, and policies while helping maintain a positive team environment and protect the business.
- Take on additional priorities and special projects as needed.
