About The Position

North Valleys Ace Hardware is seeking a Sales Associate who embodies their core values and possesses an enthusiastic, positive, and supportive sales-focused attitude. The role prioritizes customer service, aiming to provide an "Amazing Customer Experience" by putting customers first. The associate will be responsible for staying informed about promotions, executing daily operational goals, and continuously expanding product knowledge. This position also involves assisting with new shipments and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of receiving and backroom areas.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent or currently in school.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Knowledge of DIY projects, electrical. plumbing, tools , paint and hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Puts "Customers First, Tasks Second."
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and provide this information to customers.
• Execute the daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
• Continually work on increasing knowledge of the products we sell and their uses
• Merchandising skills and abilities.
• Participate in the processing of new shipments and help the team to keep the receiving and back room areas clean and organized.
