About The Position

The Sales Associate represents Tommy Bahama and its island-inspired lifestyle in the store, helping create a welcoming, relaxed shopping destination. The role involves greeting guests, helping them find merchandise that fits their needs, sharing current product knowledge, offering styling and fit advice, and suggesting additional items. Sales Associates also communicate brand direction, marketing programs, and upcoming events, and participate in store meetings while working toward sales and service goals established by store management.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A “get things done” mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help them locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge with guests.
• Provide prompt recommendations and professional service, including fit and fashion advice and suggestions for add-on purchases.
• Inform guests about brand direction, current marketing programs, and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the business.
