About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers and help them find products for occasions and milestones throughout their parenting journey, while contributing to a welcoming and inclusive store environment. The role involves assisting customers with product information and omnichannel shopping, resolving issues, operating the register, replenishing merchandise, communicating promotions and loyalty programs, and maintaining a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and manage multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
