About The Position

Minuteman Food Mart is seeking dedicated, customer-focused Sales Associates to help create a positive and welcoming convenience-store environment. The role involves customer service, cashiering, stocking and organizing merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting day-to-day store operations. Responsibilities

Greet customers courteously and provide exceptional customer service.
Help customers locate products and answer questions about merchandise, pricing, and promotions.
Operate cash registers and POS systems to process cash, credit card, and other electronic payments accurately.
Keep shelves, displays, and the store environment clean and organized.
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays, rotating and organizing products appropriately.
Monitor inventory and notify a supervisor when products need restocking.
Follow procedures for handling cash, coupons, and store discounts.
Maintain knowledge of products, new arrivals, and special promotions.
Check expiration dates and remove expired or damaged products.
Follow food safety and handling procedures for perishable items.
Work with team members to support smooth store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Follow company policies, procedures, safety rules, and security protocols.
Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
