About The Position

Tommy Bahama is seeking a Sales Associate to represent its island-inspired brand and help create a relaxed, welcoming shopping destination. The role involves sharing current product knowledge, offering recommendations and styling guidance, and delivering professional service that enhances each guest’s shopping experience. Associates work with the store team to support sales and service goals and communicate brand direction, marketing programs, and upcoming events.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A “get things done” mindset.
• Ability to collaborate naturally, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders occasionally.
• Ability to stand routinely for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help them locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge with guests.
• Provide prompt recommendations and professional service, including fit and fashion wardrobing advice and suggestions for add-on items.
• Emphasize brand direction and inform guests about current marketing programs and upcoming events.
• Participate actively in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
