About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are responsible for giving every customer a great experience by maintaining strong product knowledge and explaining product features and benefits. You will work toward sales goals, support store appearance and merchandising, and stay current on brand, product, company, and event information so you can serve as a resource to customers. The role is part-time and offers an hourly base rate plus the opportunity to earn tiered commission based on meeting sales goals. The first five shifts are paid at base rate while you focus on training.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience.
• A self-starter mentality and ability to consistently deliver an outstanding, personalized retail experience.
• An open mind and eagerness to learn and participate in the riding community.
• Experience using computers and point-of-sale systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with RetailPro.
• Motorcycle riding experience, knowledge, or interest.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with an outstanding, personalized shopping experience and exceptional customer service.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Maintain store aesthetics by cleaning, stocking, organizing, and following merchandising plans.
• Stay up to date on brand and product knowledge, company information, sales, and company-wide events.
• Participate in training and development during the first five shifts.
• Represent Cycle Gear at special events, such as motorcycle shows and motocross races.
