About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. The associate is knowledgeable about products across store departments, follows the policies and standards in the visual manual, promotes sales and promotions, and serves as an ambassador for the organization and brand. The role focuses on creating a distinctive customer experience, acquiring and retaining customers, and promoting merchandise in the store. The position assists with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup, weekly shipments, and store maintenance. It has no supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including welcoming customers and assisting multiple customers during busy periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by following internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
