About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands worldwide. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident and effortless style, with more than 400 retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as online and mobile shopping channels.

The Sales Associate provides a great in-store shopping experience for retail customers and helps with tasks such as stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise. The role involves maintaining an inviting and safe store environment, supporting product launches, processing transactions, resolving customer service issues, and promoting credit and loyalty programs. The position is based at the Town Square store.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of 6 months.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room and stock room to ensure the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Positively resolve customer service-related issues, determine a resolution or escalate them, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Drive credit and loyalty member programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customers to participate.
• Assist with additional tasks such as stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
