About The Position

GNC Sales Associates provide a welcoming customer experience and help customers identify products and solutions that fit their needs and goals. They advise customers, recommend and sell products, and represent GNC’s “Live Well” philosophy. When not serving customers, they restock merchandise, maintain visual merchandising and store appearance, fulfill online orders, and perform cleaning duties. This is a part-time hourly position. Associates support store management with store operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits. The role requires a flexible schedule that accommodates varied store hours, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

The position involves standing or walking for up to eight hours per day; frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand-and-finger motions; and lifting, pushing, and pulling items. Associates may work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, particularly in stock room areas, and may use a computer for up to 60% of the day.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work varied hours and days to meet store needs, including mornings or nights, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours per day.
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand-and-finger motions.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds; push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and reach and bend.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees.
• Ability to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers and create an inviting store environment.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products using product knowledge.
• Work toward and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals.
• Fulfill online orders accurately and promptly in accordance with company guidelines.
• Learn product features, advantages, and benefits, and stay current on nutritional, wellness, and fitness news.
• Restock products, maintain visual merchandising and store appearance, and perform cleaning duties.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and store operations, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits.
• Promote GNC’s “Live Well” message and represent the GNC brand.
