About The Position

The Sales Associate provides primary support to Builder Sales Representatives and assists with marketing and sales functions for the community. The associate also completes tasks assigned by the Builder Sales Representative on their days off. The role involves daily interaction with the public in person and through email, text, and phone, and requires travel between model homes, communities, and the company office. Work is generally performed in a typical office environment at a model home using standard office equipment. The position involves some walking, light lifting, and general cleaning to maintain homes. The environment is fast-paced and subject to interruptions and short-notice priority changes. Office hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; weekend work is required. Compensation is a full-time salary based on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and valid motor vehicle liability insurance.
Residency in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas.
Ability to perform some walking, light lifting, and general cleaning.
Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform general office duties and use computer skills to support daily operations.
Work as a team and complete assigned work responsibly.
Assist potential buyers with registration sheets, appointment setting, home showings, and signage.
Assist current buyers by arranging color and option appointments, sending construction pictures, scheduling first walks, preparing homes before final walks, and keeping specifications clean.
Maintain model homes and specification homes, including cleaning, stocking office supplies, and preparing documents and packets.
Maintain a monthly budget for model home supplies and events.
Travel to model homes for daily activities, between communities for showings, and to the company office for meetings.
