We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join our Retail Team as a Sales Associate.

Requirements

• Experience selling in a retail environment
• High school diploma.
• Proficiency in retail operations and systems (Point of Sale, Microsoft Office)
• A high standard of quality when it comes to customer service, performance, accuracy, and sales goals
• The ability to self-motivate, organize, and be persuasive in their communication style
• The ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods of time
• Able to develop a strong working relationship with a diverse range of customers and business partners
• Good communication in English and French.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary experience in sales and retail customer service would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador of our brand, taking care to ensure every customer feels like a guest in our home.
• Give a positive first impression, find the items they need, and suggest additional items to help build their dream space.
• Help customers check out and process their payment.
• Reconcile daily payments and STORIS reports with total sales.
• Work with the team to keep the storefront clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Handle return/go-back items.
• Support management in promotions and customer events.
• Support the warehouse team with contacting clients, scheduling pickups/deliveries, and ensuring the accuracy of orders.
