About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends. The role also involves completing initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team, contributing positively to the store team, and consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a part-time position requiring availability for 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.

Requirements

Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time-management skills.
Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to maneuver around sales-floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
Required visual abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Focus on full-price selling while remaining aware of product value and promotions.
Handle customer situations according to company policies and procedures, seek solutions, and involve leadership in escalated issues.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
Maintain organization and cleanliness to support a safe working and shopping environment.
Follow company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, and the Safety Program.
Comply with Loss Prevention policies and report violations to leadership or through the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events, and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS.
Represent the PacSun brand through enthusiasm for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
Contribute to a positive working environment by demonstrating core value behaviors.
Adhere to Employee Appearance Guidelines and help maintain the company’s fashion image.
