About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. The role requires knowledge of the store’s product areas and departments, adherence to the policies, procedures, and standards in the visual manual, and full promotion of sales and promotions. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the Sales Associate creates a distinctive customer experience that helps acquire and retain customers, while promoting merchandise and delivering outstanding service.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks precisely.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service according to the customer service manual, including greeting customers as they enter and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Uphold company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell goods, using guidance in the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend all store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring internal control procedures are accurate and effective, and by informing management or appropriate officials of potential fraud risks.
