About The Position

Primark is hiring a seasonal, part-time Sales Associate for its Vineland Outlets location. The Sales Associate helps create a positive in-store customer experience by assisting with sizes, styles, purchases, and returns; maintaining the sales floor and stockroom; operating till points; and receiving and preparing merchandise. The seasonal period lasts 90 days. The starting base hourly rate is $15.00, with increases of $0.50 after six months and one year of continued employment. The pay rate offered is based on the candidate’s geographic region of work. The current openings are for opening and mid-day shifts.

The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, up to eight hours per shift, and frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, and handling merchandise. Colleagues may need to lift, carry, push, or pull merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally participate in team lifts for items up to 50 pounds. Depending on assigned responsibilities, trained and authorized colleagues may use balers and manual or electric pallet jacks; colleagues under 18 may not use this equipment. Responsibilities

• Help customers with sizes, styles, purchases, and returns, providing an amazing in-store experience.
• Maintain an attractive shop floor with full shelves and tidy fitting rooms, and keep the stockroom tidy and organized.
• Provide a fast, friendly, efficient experience at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receive, unpack, and check off deliveries; move products to the shop floor; and ensure merchandise is correctly priced and meets company standards.
• As assigned, safely operate equipment such as balers and manual or electric pallet jacks after appropriate training and authorization.
