About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales and customer relationships by providing strong customer service and applying effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate also supports shipments, restocking, pricing, visual standards, store organization, and theft prevention while complying with company policies and participating in service training and product programs.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-oriented, flexible, communication, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Display basic fashion and trend knowledge and recommend appropriate merchandise to meet customer needs while building relationships and maintaining DTLR standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs as directed by visual guidance.
Help prevent employee and customer theft.
Maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other assigned duties.
