About The Position

The Sales Associate helps make LensCrafters a premier destination for vision needs by delivering a high-quality experience in eye care and eyewear. The position focuses on achieving sales objectives, building customer relationships, helping customers select frames and lens solutions, and contributing to an organized, inclusive store environment. The role is part-time.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, along with basic phone and math skills.
Ability to embrace new technology and change while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Ability to sell using sales skills and be accountable for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

Consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
Assist patients with frame selection and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose vision solutions.
Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
Maintain the appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
