Sales Associate, PRN, 9 am to 4 pm.
About The Position
The Sales Associate for the gift shop provides direct customer service by assisting customers with choosing items from displays. This position assists with displaying and arranging merchandise, keeping the shop clean from clutter, assisting with cash register sales and closing at the end of the day. The Sales Associate also keeps records of sales, returns, damaged merchandise and shortages when closing out the register. Gift Shop hours are Mon - Fri 9am -4pm. Hours will change based on volunteer availability. Greet every customer with a friendly helpful, demeanor. Demonstrate knowledge of merchandise uses, pricing, etc. Assist customers with their shopping needs. General upkeep responsibilities of shop: dusting, straightening, etc. Track damages and coupons accurately. Cash drawer reconciliation and ringing of sales.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year Retail Experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree Healthcare or related field
- 1 year Microsoft Office
