About The Position

As a Sales Associate at Carter’s, you will be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, help them find products for the milestones in their parenting journey, and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits. The role is in a busy retail environment and includes customer service, sales transactions, store replenishment, and maintaining a safe, clean store. Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and balance the needs of multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel services as needed to meet customer needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss through exceptional customer service and by maintaining a safe, clean store.
