About The Position
As a Sales Associate in the shoes department, you represent Von Maur and contribute to its reputation for customer service. You help create a memorable shopping experience by serving customers, developing relationships, sharing product and service knowledge, processing transactions, maintaining the department, and working toward sales and account goals. The position is based in Victor, New York, and offers a base wage of $16.00–$18.00 per hour, plus commission and overtime eligibility. Actual wages depend on individual qualifications, and commission may vary by department.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Develop relationships to grow your business.
- Use product knowledge and explain store services to create a positive customer experience.
- Process POS transactions and enter account information.
- Maintain a visually appealing and clean department.

- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
