About The Position

Tommy Bahama is seeking a temporary Sales Associate to represent the brand and help create a relaxed, welcoming shopping destination. The role focuses on providing friendly, professional service; sharing product knowledge and styling recommendations; supporting brand marketing and events; and working with the store team to meet sales and service goals. Associates may also perform other duties needed to support the business.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest service and sales experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• A get-things-done mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• Willingness to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling; occasional ladder climbing; and routine standing for up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help them locate or obtain merchandise suited to their needs and preferences.
• Learn and share current product knowledge, offer prompt recommendations, and provide fit, fashion, and wardrobe advice, including suggesting add-on items.
• Inform guests about the brand’s direction, current marketing programs, and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
