About The Position

Tommy Bahama is seeking a Sales Associate to represent the brand and help create a relaxed, welcoming shopping destination. The role involves greeting guests, helping them find merchandise, sharing product knowledge and recommendations, and providing professional service that enhances the shopping experience. Sales Associates also communicate brand direction and marketing programs, participate in store meetings, and work toward sales and service goals set by store management. The position may include other duties necessary to support the business.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• A get-things-done mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders occasionally.
• Ability to stand routinely for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.
• Willingness to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge, including fit and fashion advice, and recommend add-on items.
• Inform guests about brand direction, current marketing programs, and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
