About The Position

GNC Sales Associates are part-time hourly team members who create tailored shopping experiences by discovering customers’ needs and goals and recommending relevant products. They welcome customers, advise and sell products, and represent GNC’s “Live Well” message. When not assisting customers, they restock products, maintain visual merchandising, fulfill online orders, and perform cleaning duties. They also support store management with opening, closing, and daily store operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours per day.
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand-to-finger motions.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally, and push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and reach and bend.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, particularly in stock room areas.
• Ability to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
• Availability to work varied hours and days, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet and welcome customers and help create an inviting store environment.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products using product knowledge.
• Work toward and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals.
• Fulfill online orders promptly and accurately according to company guidelines.
• Develop product knowledge, including product features, advantages, and benefits, and stay informed about nutrition, wellness, and fitness news.
• Restock products, maintain visual merchandising, and perform cleaning duties.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and operating the store, including cash handling, inventory counts, deposits, and maintaining store appearance.
• Work varied hours and days as needed, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
