About The Position

GNC Sales Associates work part-time in retail stores, helping customers identify their needs and goals and recommending products that suit them. Associates welcome customers, create a helpful shopping experience, and represent GNC’s “Live Well” message. When not assisting customers, they restock products, maintain visual merchandising and store appearance, fulfill online orders, and perform cleaning duties. They also support store management with store operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits.

The role requires a flexible schedule to meet store needs, including mornings or nights for opening or closing, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open. Associates must be at least 18 years old. The position involves standing or walking for up to eight hours per day, frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand motions, lifting up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally, and pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds. Associates may climb ladders, work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, and use a computer for up to 60% of the day.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including mornings or nights, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours per day.
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand-to-finger motions.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally, and push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees.
• Ability to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
• Customer interaction skills and ability to make product recommendations based on customers’ needs and product knowledge.

• Restock products and maintain visual merchandising and store appearance.
• Perform cleaning duties when not assisting customers.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and operating the retail store, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits.
• Promote GNC’s “Live Well” message and represent the brand to customers.
