About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style, with retail and outlet stores, an online store, and a mobile app. The Sales Associate joins the Express team at the Gloucester Premium store and provides customers with a great in-store shopping experience while helping with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other store tasks.

The role supports store safety and presentation, delivers customer service, processes transactions, resolves customer concerns, and promotes credit and loyalty programs. Associates follow company policies and procedures and assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant job experience.
• Proficiency using technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; PHOENIX does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room to keep the store safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine a resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty member programs and encourage customer participation.
• Assist with additional tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
