About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands worldwide. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style, with retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, an online store, and a mobile app.

Express is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its Clarksburg Premium store. The associate provides customers with a great in-store shopping experience and supports store operations through tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role includes maintaining safe, clean, and organized store areas; following company procedures; supporting product launches; processing transactions; addressing customer service issues; and promoting credit and loyalty programs. Additional essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

The stated pay range is $17.15–$22.30 per hour. Compensation depends on factors such as work location, education, skills, and experience. Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of 6 months.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; the company does not sponsor work visas for this position.

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout area, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine an appropriate resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Promote credit and loyalty member programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customer participation.
• Perform additional essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other tasks that support the in-store shopping experience.
