About The Position

GNC Sales Associates provide a welcoming, customer-focused shopping experience and help customers identify products and solutions suited to their needs and goals. They represent GNC’s “Live Well” philosophy and brand, build product knowledge, and contribute to store sales and productivity goals. This is a part-time hourly position. Sales Associates also support store operations by fulfilling online orders, restocking products, maintaining visual merchandising and store appearance, performing cleaning duties, and assisting with opening, closing, cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits. The role requires a flexible schedule, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours per day.
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand-to-finger motions.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds; push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, particularly in stockroom areas.
• Ability to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
• Customer interaction skills and the ability to make recommendations based on product knowledge and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet and welcome customers and create a welcoming store environment.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products using product knowledge.
• Work toward achieving and exceeding personal and store sales and productivity goals.
• Fulfill online orders accurately and on time in compliance with company guidelines.
• Learn product features, advantages, and benefits, and stay current on nutritional, wellness, and fitness news.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and daily store operations.
• Handle cash, inventory counts, and deposits as needed.
• Restock products, maintain visual merchandising and store appearance, and perform cleaning duties.
• Work varied hours and days to meet store needs, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
