About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome customers and help them find products for moments throughout their parenting journey, from new baby essentials to back-to-school needs. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment and support customers in person and through omnichannel services. The role involves register transactions, replenishment and shipment tasks, communicating promotions and the brand loyalty program, and helping maintain a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. The position requires standing or walking for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling, as well as climbing a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and balance multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel services as needed to meet customer needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
