About The Position

GNC Sales Associates help customers discover products that fit their needs and goals, creating a welcoming, personalized shopping experience while representing the company’s “Live Well” message. This is a part-time hourly retail position. Associates greet customers, provide product recommendations, and work toward store and individual sales and productivity goals. When not assisting customers, they restock products, maintain visual merchandising and store appearance, fulfill online orders, and perform cleaning duties. They also support store management with opening, closing, cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits. Associates are expected to learn about product features and benefits and stay informed about nutrition, wellness, and fitness. The role requires flexible availability for varied store hours, including mornings or nights, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open. The work involves standing or walking for extended periods, frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand motions, lifting and pushing or pulling items, climbing ladders, and using a computer. Work areas may range from 50 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Able to frequently reach, bend, and twist below the waist and above the shoulders, and perform repetitive hand-to-finger motions.
• Able to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
• Able to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Able to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
• Able to work varied hours and days, including mornings or nights, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

• Fulfill online orders accurately and promptly according to company guidelines.
• Learn product features, advantages, and benefits, and stay informed about nutrition, wellness, and fitness.
• Restock products, maintain visual merchandising and store appearance, and perform cleaning duties.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and store operations, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits.
• Represent GNC and promote its “Live Well” message to customers.
• Work varied hours and days to meet store needs, including opening or closing shifts, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
